With Day in Your Life sessions, I’m there to capture the magic as it happens. I’ll slip in behind the scenes and follow your family over a full day. With minimal direction, I’ll document all the candid moments so you can keep them forever. Because nothing is better than real life— the chemistry, chaos and connections that are impossible to recreate.
As an only child whose parents have both died, the photos I have of my family and my childhood are some of my most valued possessions. My father worked in TV, developed an avid interest in photography and had an eye for capturing the beautiful, messy moments in our everyday lives. The photos and film he left behind are an enduring legacy of our family and the life that we shared.
Photography is more than just snapping pictures for me. It's about connecting with people and building relationships. When I have a photo session with a family, it feels like spending time with friends. We share stories, laugh, and create something special together for their children to cherish.
I love the idea of a "day in your life" session because it captures the beauty in the everyday moments. It's about being present and real, not just posing for the camera. Through these sessions, I get to see the routines, the connections, and the love that make up a family.
Childhood is a time of wonder and discovery, and I strive to capture those genuine moments in my photos. It's about freezing those precious memories that will be treasured for years to come. Photography is not just a job for me, it's a way to celebrate life and create lasting connections with others.
The artist behind the lens
MEET NADIA
I was born and raised in Paris and now live in Berowra with my Australian husband and our three children—on-call models who have helped me hone my own “moment capturing eye”. I’ve worked in film and fine art photography since 2013. I’ve exhibited my photos in renowned Australian galleries, travelled Europe for special shoots, had my photos featured in print and online and have won awards—both international and local—for my work.
But I’m more interested in the mess and chaos of life than the prestige and accolades. I’m more interested in making art from the ordinariness of life. And creating a legacy for my clients and their families, like the one my father has left for me.
