{ A day in your Life } Darling Point NSW
Today I want to share why I love a day in your life session so much, for that I want to share with you this session I shot last year.
For me, this is not just a session, this an experience, and an exchange. I learn about your family by being with you all day. I learn why Mister X loves mowing the grass with his little fake mower, why Miss X loves her books and created an Easter hat, and why little Mister X likes his bottle and going inside the kitchen drawer. I learn and I document what makes you unique as a family. You show me how you are all connected and the love you have for each other. This is why you choose this type of session: the keepsake of your childhood memories.
As a photographer, capturing these moments is a beautiful challenge. I have to be present, observant, and creative in order to document the essence of your family. It's not just about taking pictures, it's about telling your story through images. I have to think about angles, lighting, and composition, all while letting your family's natural interactions unfold before my lens.
One of the most memorable moments from this shoot was seeing how the family interacted with each other. The laughter, the hugs, the little inside jokes - it was clear that they had a strong connection and a deep love for each other. Capturing these moments was truly heartwarming and reminded me of the importance of family bonds.
At the end of the day, we will become old friends who shared time together creating timeless memories. This is why I love being a family photographer, it allows me to capture the connections and love that make each family unique. And through a day in your life session, I am able to create a keepsake of their childhood that you can cherish for years to come.
